Gramps

   Recently, my grandad a.k.a gramps has been ill in hospital. He looked exactly like he normally does but, just lying in the bed made him look so small. He's out of hospital now and i'm just so glad he's okay.
   My grandad has always been there for me throughout my life. He's a lot like another dad. I see him a few times each week and i'm nto ready to have him taken away from me.
   He is the strongest and most amazing man ever and I'll always be there for him when he needs someone, just like he looks after me and the rest of the family.

Maths and Liverpool!!!

MATHS! MATHS! MATHS!
I love it... I'm such a NERD!
All I've done this week is maths revision because I have an exam tomorrow(I should be revising now!) , which I can't wait to do. I've had double maths all week instead of film studies then maths and today I had 4 lessons of Maths!
I hate this book now, It's so annoying >>>>

There's been maths revision after school everyday this week and on saturday they're doing revision for the calculator paper which is on monday (woo! more maths) But, I can't go to the revision because I'm gonig to LIVERPOOL! Apparently everyone should be gonig to the revision unless it's a life or death situation but, I've already booked the hotel and stuff so, I'm going. I'll do revision on the train, but not on the way there because we're leaving at 5am, yes, 5am :( I'm going to be sooo tired :(

I can't actually believe they're donig saturday revision. The teachers aren't getting paid for it either and the school is buying everyone who goes there a McDonalds breakfast, now you see why I don't want to leave high school! I mean, I'm typing off the free laptop that they gave me (which I may have to give back in a few months when I leave or, they may charge us a small amount to keep them).

I'm not going to tell you why I'm going to Liverpool but, I will after the weekend, when I've been but, I think you should all wish me luck (that may give you a hint as to why I'm going, or it may not!)

A letter to my Brother

Dear Bradley,

            It’s hard to believe that fifteen years ago today, you passed away. Well, it’s hard to believe that I actually had a twin brother. Not remembering you is one of the reasons why I get so upset. We were both together from day one and I’d love to have grown up with you here. I know that you would’ve been the BEST brother EVER. Every day, I think about what my day would’ve been like if you were around

. I think about what life would be like if you were here.

            It’s weird that even though I don’t know you, I love you so much. I would love to have got to know you; what you like and what you don’t like. I also wonder what you would look like now.

I  love looking at the few photos we have of you but, I also hate it.    You never really came home from the hospital; you were never really home for more than a few hours. Most of the photos we have of you are at the hospital where you were surrounded by the nurses that became family. In most of the photos you were attached to different machines, helping you to live, I hate looking at the photos because of this. Were you suffering? You had a chromosome disorder called cri cu chat. This affected your movement and speech along with other things.

I’ve written a few songs about you and how I wish you were here but, I usually end up crying or something when I write/sing them. I hope that other people understand the songs and can relate to them.

            A few days ago, mom told me about the day you died. She still remembers everything but, how could she forget? Apparently Dad was at work and the hospital rang, straight away, my mom asked, “He’s going, isn’t he?”

She knew that when we got there my sister would be hungry so, while we waited for my uncle to pick us up, mom wrapped up the jacket potatoes that had been cooking. When we got the hospital, My nan stood in the door holding our sisters hand and my Aunty held me in her arms while, you passed away in moms arms. Mom still believes that before you left us you looked up at her, even though you couldn’t control your head movement. When Dad got to the hospital, nobody had to tell him, he knew as soon as he walked into the room. It was your nurse’s day off but, she came into the hospital. You were her first long term patient and the day after you died, she quit her job.

            Our Mom is one of the strongest people I know, she’s amazing! She managed to look after Sarah and I even when she was losing you. I honestly don’t know how she did that. How could she cope with losing one twin and having the other as a reminder? Mom thinks that she is the worst role model ever because she hasn’t always got the money to get Sarah and I the things that we want but, to me, she is the best role model ever and I do not know what I would do if mom wasn’t around.

 I always feel like it could be me that isn’t here so, as weird as it sounds, I want to live my life for the both of us. I want to make people around me proud of the things I’ve done and most of all, I want mom to be happy with me. Even though you’re not here with us, I know you’re watching over us. Just as your grave stone says, ‘Now you can fly with the angels in Heaven.’ I know that you’re up there, watching us every day and you’re with the whole family for all the special events and I know that you’ll continue to be there for us all.

            You’re my twin and each year on our birthday I can’t help but miss you even more than usual. I don’t exactly feel like celebrating by myself, you should be there with me having fun.

            Whenever we go to the cemetery, I read what your grave stone says even though I already know what is written on it. You’re right at the top of the hill along with all of the other babies. There are twins and triplets up there too. Every time we drive past the cemetery I always look in the direction of your grave for as long as possible. It just gives me chance to think about you and it makes me feel closer to you.

            You are Dads first son and a few days ago he posted a Facebook status about you that I read and cried at. It said ‘He wasn’t special needs, just special. Although my son may be at Gods side, the precious memories are very special.’ Dad has never said anything like that before so, I was kind of shocked! Our Half-brothers Owain and Dylan know a bit about you but, I’m sure Dad will talk to them about you soon when they’ll be able to understand what happened

            Mom says you will always be her little boy and I just say I want you back here with us. I always hear people talking about how they would like a twin well; I just want my twin back! I’ll never stop missing you so, don’t expect me to. You’re one of the best people that has ever been in my life.

Prom Dress Shopping

I never knew that this experience could be so long, and most of all AWKWARD!
I went into a dress shop yesterday and some women took me to a whole room of prom dresses. I instantly saw one I liked but, this women picked out about TEN more dresses for me to try on. I looked at my mom and she was like 'We're gonna be here for a looong time!"
Anyway, I tried on the dress I really liked first, which was the one that I noticed first and I ended up buying that one but, this is the awkward part...
At prom dress shops, apparently you can not put on the dresses by yourself so, there I was standing in my underwear while osme women helpt me put each one on! then, she started telling me about the type of bra I should wear with the dress. She was like, you should wear one like mine. That's when she lifted up her top! It was denise Welch on Big brother all over again! Oh and just to let you know, this women was in like her fifties.
I have to go back there next week!

Long time, no blog

ONE DIRECTION CONCERT!!!!

Okay, so on wednesday the 21st of Decemer, me, Shannon and Beth were all really depressed because we didn't have tickets to the One Direction concert in Wolverhampton that night. Shan was on her way to my house to hang out when a girl on twitter tweeted that there were spare One Direction tickets that had been put on sale that day!
I first text Shan to ask if she could go and she said yes so, i called up the box office. I ordered the last 3 tickets but, i only had like twenty minutes to get to Wolverhampton to pick them up. I then rang Shan back and she screamed down the phone... we then went to Wolverhampton but we didn't know whre the box office was so we had to keep calling them to ask for Directions (there's only ONE DIRECTION! <<< yes i know i'm sad) and for them to keep our tickets reserved.
When we got the tickets, we got them out the envolope and looked at them straight away to see where we were sitting.

Yes, they do say, Row A on the balcony. The first thing i said was 'at the last concert their families sat on the balcony so we could be near them'
A few hours later, me and Shannon went to Beths house to suprise her. We'd already asked her mom if she could go so, everything was sorted. Beth opened the door and i held up the tickets. Shannon and i started screaming and she asked why we were screaming. I then told her to read the tickets and... wait for it... She CRIED!!!
.....At the concert....
We sat down in our amazing seats and there were a load of spare seats either side of us. Soon two older people came and sat next to us, They were like grandparent age. and it turned out that they were Liam Paynes grandparents which was AMAZING! The a younger girl came over and told them that they could swap seats so, they went and Louis family came and sat next to us instead, we know it was them because 1) we recognised them and 2) they told us.
Beth was so funny she looked at us and said "I'm sitting next to my future nan-in-law' LOL! Then Harrys family came to sit next to Louis family and Liams family sat the other side of us. It was CRAZY!  Loads of people were taking photos and people were coming over to the families for photos. That's when Louis' nan started to talk to us and she mentioned how she's alright because she's never asked for photos so, we asked her and she seemed pretty excited about it... here we are!

His nan asked us who our favourite member were so, I said Harry, Shan said Liam and Beth said Louis which made her smile.
Then During the concert when One Direction came on stage Beth screamed "OH MY GOD, LOOK AT HIS BUTT!" It was hilarious especially when all his family turned around and looked at us really awkwardly. I think we scarred his sister for life!
Then When Louis sung a cover of Valerie, His nan started to cry, it was the sweetest thing ever! She turned around to us and told us how proud of him she is so yeah, LOUIS TOMLINSON IF YOU'RE READING, SHE'S PROUD OF YOU!!!! :D
All through the concert his grandparents were really close and holding hands and stuff, I love old couples, they're so cute <<< that sounds weird doesn't it?!
At the end of the concert, Louis family said it was nice to meet us then, we followed them and harry's family out of the building. I think I freaked one of Harry's cousins out because I said how hot Harry looked, he just turned around and laughed at me but, at least I got his attenetion but, doesn;t he know it's rude to listen to other peoples conversations? Oh, well!

ED SHEERAN CONCERT!!!

So, Shan had two tickets to see Ed sheeran for her birthday and she chose to take ME! My best Friend is AWESOME! Ed was amazing and I'm sure he said that it was one of the biggest venues he had played, it was only the civic hall! He also brought out his cousin to record some footage for his newest non official music video, drunk. So, although I was at the back I was there, which means I am kind of in it wooo!!!! Here it is :D

It was just him, his guitar on stage and well, twas great! He did two songs for his encore, 'Lego house' and a 20 minute long version of 'You need me' which was just well, SPECTACULAR (Word of the day!) Ed Sheeran is amazing live and everyone should go to see him.
The award for the best banner goes to the people on the balcony who had a banner that said 'ED SHEERAN, MARRY ME, I WANT YOUR GINGER CHILDREN!!' <<<best everr.

The next concert i'm gonig to is McFly, on the 30th of March! Woooo!!!

So, it was Beths Birthday on Wednesday, so i'm just gonna say Happy Late Birthday wooo!!! Go follow her @bethtomlinsonx

There's so much more that I need to blog about this but, there's already like 6 hours worth of reading here so, I'm gonna stop :D
I know, I know you all love my blog but, I'm seriously gonna stop!
