I'm going to uni!

A Level results day was a week ago now. I was on holiday and spent the morning nervously awaiting my results and university confirmation. When the local library opened, I rushed down there and logged onto UCAS to see that I got into Aston University! I was so happy and just overcome with emotions since I had worked quite a lot.

Later that day, I got an email from one of my tutors who kindly sent my results. I got an A and three C's. At first, I was kind of disappointed with the C's as, I was expecting B's but, I'm over that now. Those results still got me onto my course so, now A levels's are more of one of my stepping stones to the future. Just like my GCSE's which got me to college.

I start university at the end of September and although it's in Birmingham, close to where I live, I am moving out as I feel like I'm ready for a bit of independence. Mum won't be too far away if I need her though! I'm looking forward to university so much! It'll be nice to meet new people and make some more friends. I'll be studying biomedical science which, obviously, I'm interested in. I just hope I like it as much as I like the thought of it. I want to be able to actually understand the subject and not spend the whole year worrying.

What's going on?!

I know, I know, It's been a while since I wrote a post. I have no excuse really, just a lack of creativity... or, just me being lazy! Oh well, I'll just have to take this moment to fill you in on my life.
Back in June, I finally finished college. Now, I have just under two weeks to wait for my results, which I'm relying upon to get into university. I am looking forward to uni, it'll be fun! Not so much looking forward to the actual work though. I'll be studying biomedical science which, I am interested in, I just hope that interest continues.
Apart from waiting around, I've been applying for countless amounts of jobs AND I'm still getting no where! It's not like I've been looking for two years or anything. I don't want to sound big headed or full of myself but, I have pretty good school and college grades and I'm quite a lovely person so yes, sometimes when I'm in a shop, I do wonder how that assistant has a job and I don't! Hopefully I'll get one soon though as it would be nice to have the extra bit of money while studying.
What else? I've been getting quite into fitness and being healthy recently. I've lost quite a bit of weight through it but, most of all I've found a real passion for jogging! I'm loving it! It just gives me time in my own world, with great music to clear my head and prepare myself for the days events. As part of my healthy eating, I've cut out a lot of meat and replaced it with quorn. I mostly use quorn mince or quorn chicken pieces which I think I may actually prefer to the real meat... What's happening to me? If anyone actually reads this, it would be great to know what some of your favourite healthy dishes are, as I'd like to expand my dinner menu a bit!
