University Trip

I know I'm only in the first year of doing my A-levels but, my college encourages us to go to university open days and master classes.
Yesterday, I went on a trip with the gifted an talented group to Cambridge University. It's really nice that that group of people think that I could get into it but, my colleges careers advisor doesn't even mention that university to me. A lot of my family are also encouraging me to go there it's just I noticed some things about it that aren't that good.
  • Being made up of different colleges, means that you choose one to live in but, your lectures could also be in other colleges.
  • Most people get to the other colleges by cycling which, I hate and buying a bike would not exactly be at the top of my list of things to buy. Anyway, what happens in bad weather conditions, like snow?
  • They have lectures on SATURDAYS!!! As if I wouldn't be stressed out enough with 12 hours of lectures, 3 - 6 hours of practicals and meetings with tutors?!
There's probably a few other things but, I can't think of them at the moment. Cambridge was a lovely place though but, I'm not sure if it actually would be the best choice.

HELP!
